The barriers are down and now you can get an up close and personal look at the five stones that Masayuki Nagase carved this summer at Main Street Square. Those walls came down on Monday.
Nagase is now three years into the five–year project, Passage of Wind and Water. He has finished 14 of the project's 21 stones.
Nagase will be back in Rapid City next June to carve one of the 35–foot high spires at the square.
A farewell gathering is set for this Sunday at Main Street Square from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
