Rapid City Police investigate 2nd robbery on Tuesday

Rapid City Police are investigating the second convenience store robbery in 24 hours. Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Fresh Start convenience store on Haines Avenue just after 9:35pm Tuesday night. The clerk says three men entered the store and one approached the clerk with what appeared to be a baton or club and demanded money from the register. Police say the suspects took money, cigarettes and alcohol and fled north on foot. The clerk was not injured. The first suspect is described as wearing a black hat with a red bill and white lettering. He was wearing dark clothes and shoes with a dark colored bandana around his neck and face. The second suspect is described as wearing a white shirt with a black and white hooded sweatshirt over it with light colored pants and red shoes. He was wearing a black mask with a white colored skull design covering his face. The third suspect is described as wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with the hood up, gray pants, light black or gray colored shoes with red laces and white trim. He was carrying what appeared to be a black duffel bag with a white zipper on it when he entered the store. Police earlier responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Common Cents store on West Omaha at about 3:00am Tuesday morning.
