RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - The Rapid City Rush ended their annual stock show road trip this weekend.

The team concluded the road stretch in Fort Wayne Indiana against the Komets. The Rush did start their road trip on the right foot but ran into some trouble at the end, which brings us to this week's slap shot.

Take a look at the Komets' forward Justin Hodgman, getting in there to knock the puck to his teammate Marc-Olivier Roy. He is able to get it over the shoulder of Adam Vay for the first points of the night.

2.) Pavel Jenys takes a shot, it goes wide and bounces over to Matt Caito, he slings it and makes it pass Bartus and the rush is now on the board.

3.) Komets coming down the ice with a three on one advantage. Ryan Lowney fire it in and the Komets take a 3-1 lead.

4.) Marco- Ray following Tyler Deresky, Wall can't handle Deresky as Deresky slings it in for the score.

5.) Baptista tosses right through the legs of Elmes, Shawn Szdlowski lights the lamp and the Komets go up 5-2.

6.) Rush still fighting to stay alive with the puck, coming down low, Kenton Miller in front and he scores.

7.) Daniel Leavens carrying it over the line, nice pass to Peter Sivak , He takes the shot, Bartus tries to make the save, the puck comes back out and ...Riley Weselowski finishes the job with the score.
The Rush returns to the Ice Arena at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Wednesday. Puck drop is set at 10:30 am, for the Rush to Read More Game.
