RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - The hockey season is officially over for the Rapid City Rush and Coach Tetrault and his team made sure that they would not end this season on a bad note.

The club finished up its season on the road taking on the Tulsa Oilers.
Tulsa had to beat the Rush in Friday's game for their playoff spot, but the Rush gladly rained on that parade.

Last night the two met for final time this season as the Rush was looking to complete the sweep. Which brings us to this Sunday's slapshot.

1.) 12 minutes in the first period ...nice rookie to rookie action as Daniel Leavens feeds Dante Salituro he scores to take the Rush up one nothing.
2.) Salituro scored four goals in Saturday's game and here is goal number two as Peter Sivak finds him...he takes the shot and scores extending the Rush's lead
3.) On the penalty kill...Ryan Tesink gets the puck pass Frey scoring the oilers first goal of the night...only trailing the rush by one.
4.) Second period, the Rush continues to pile it on...this time it's Aaron Boyd with a big shot putting it in the back of the net. That was his second goal in only his 5th game in the ECHL.
5.) And here is Boyd again with another score after being fed by Nong-Lambert
