Sioux Falls beats Rushmore in Saturday Little League action

Saturday, unbeaten Rushmore and Sioux Falls went head to head. Sioux Falls leads 2-0 in the first inning, and Peyton Tipton comes in to pitch. Ty Naaktgebom hits back over the mound, and Treyse Eastman and Riley Mason come in to score.

Jaxsen Grevengoed next to bat for Sioux Falls, sends the chopper past short, and Beau Giblin wheels around from 2nd. Sioux Falls goes up 5.

Now, 6-nothing, and Sioux Falls isn't letting up. Griffin Wilde keeps it in play on the third baseline. Tipton tracks it down, over throws to first, and Grevengoes scores.

In the bottom of the 1st, 8-0 Sioux Falls. Marcus Phillips throwing heat for the East River squad. Rushmore's Kyle Schlueter keeps it infield and Kai Jackson shows off his wheels sliding in to score.

Don't sleep on this Rushmore team - Ean Druce takes the plate next. The pitch gets behind the plate, and Davin Blake steals home. That's two quick runs for Rushmore.

And here's another. Ean Druce sends the ball deep into left field. Riley Palmer scores on the RBI double. But, Sioux Falls keeps the lead for the win, 17-7 the final score to advance to the championship game on Monday.
