Though coming up short against the Stevens Raiders in the District 4-Double-A championship game, the cause was not dead for the Sturgis Scooper boys'.
Headed for Region 2-Double-A play, the Scoopers sought to punch their ticket to next week's Double-A tournament at the expense of Aberdeen Central.
