Area Little Leaguers left it all on the field Sunday, as their district tournament fate depended on it.
We'll go out to the Rushmore fields for the sub-district championships.

In the 'B' Bracket, Rushmore needing to get the win over Spearfish to advance to next weekend.

We join this game in the top of the 3rd inning, 9-0 Rushmore in the strong lead, and adding to it... At the top of the order, Kai Jackson knocks a long ball to right center, scores Ean Druce on the RBI triple.

Davin Blake is the next batter for Rushmore, and he sends the ball deep to left center field, scoring Jackson on the play to put Rushmore up 11-0.

Still in the 3rd inning, Peyton Tipton takes the plate and skips it up the third baseline. Davin Blake wheels around from 2nd for the 12-run lead.

And Rushmore keeps it coming as Brian Atkinson goes up to bat. He sends the pitch right to the shortstop, and beats the throw to 1st. Tipton scores. A huge 13-run inning for Rushmore.

Kai Jackson doing his part on the mound, as he strikes out Spearfish's Ty Sieber to end the inning. Jackson pitched a no hitter through all four innings.

We go to the top of the 4th, and Rushmore all but seals the deal here as Tipton hits the homer over the fence in right field. It's good for a 2-run home run for Tipton as Rushmore blanks Spearfish 19-0 to advance to the North Dakota/South Dakota District tournament next weekend.
