Rush topple Steelheads

Wednesday night, the Rapid City Rush came up short against the number two team in the Mountain Division, the Idaho Steelheads.
Friday, the division rivals returned to the ice for the second game of the three-game set.
Out to the Civic Center Ice Arena we go. Pick it up in the first period of play.
Idaho on the attack, Cole Ully to Max French with the backhand. Christian Frey makes the save, but Jefferson Dahl is right place, right time to jam home the first goal of the contest.
Rush trying to counter, Kenton Miller sends it on net to Peter Sivak for the redirect, but Philippe Derosiers makes the save.
Rush on the move again, Matt Caito with the stretch pass to Alex Kromm, he powers to the net,, Evan Janssen joins the scrum, but the Rush comes up empty.
Idaho looking to add to its totals, Will Merchant to Chris Martenet, he fires, hoping for the redirect from Brady Brassart, but Brassart can't get a stick on it.
The Rush finally breaks through in the first, Caito sends it out front to Pavel Jenys at the point. He lets fly, but there's a deflection, Andrew Miller rips it backhand and finishes with the game-tying goal.
The Rush get the win. Final Score 4 to 2.
