Rush top Utah in overtime

After picking up points in three straight games to start 20-18, the Rapid City Rush collapsed against Colorado, only to bounce back to pick up a win over division rival Utah on Monday.
Friday, the scene shifted here to the Hills for three straight against those same Grizzlies.
The Civic Center gearing up for the Rush Fight Cancer event tomorrow night.
1st period, Rush on the attack, Kenton Miller flies in and fires, but Sean Maguire is there to make the save.
The Rush breaks through moments later, Dante Salituro to Daniel Leavens with the extra pass to Peter Sivak who finds the net for the first goal of the game. 1-nothing Rush with the lead.
Utah trying to counter, Austin Ortega with the feed to former Rush centerman Ryan Walters on the doorstep, he crashes the net, but Adam Vay is able to make the cover.
Later, the Grizzlies tying it up, the puck ends up out in front where Kyle Thomas stuffs it home and we are knotted at one.
Utah feeling a little overconfident, Brendan Harms gets a little too aggressive around Vay for Geoff Fortman's taste. Fortman takes issue as Harms goes down on the shove. Both men would end up in the penalty box.
That'll eventually lead to a Utah 4-on-3 and the Grizzlies take advantage as Taylor Richart hammers it from the dot, getting it past Vay for the go-ahead goal.
And the Rush gets the overtime win. Final Score 4 to 3.
