Rush tangle with Tulsa once more

By  |

Wednesday has the Rush running on all cylinders against the Tulsa Oilers, cruising to a 5-to-2 win and moving within two points of the Oilers in the Mountain Division Standings.
Friday, the Rush was hoping they hadn't gorged on the turkey, too much to skate well, looking for back-to-back wins against the Oilers.
Tulsa Coach Rob Murray back on the bench after a health scare one week ago.
Rush on the move, Matt Caito to Ian Brady who feeds Darian Dzierzynski for the one-time, but he's off the mark.
Tulsa tries to counter, Dmitrii Sergeev to Kale Kessy and he's just off the mark as well.
Rush trying to push, Dylan labbe picks a pocket and heads on the breakaway, but Jake Hildebrand stones him. Dante Salituro with a chance, but comes up empty as well.
Tulsa counters, Alexandre Ranger spins and charges the net, down to Evan Richardson, then over to Mike McKie, but Adam Vay stays strong between the pipes.
Later, foot race to the puck, Salituro with the late dish to Pavel Jenys who whiffs on it, 2nd chance out in front, but again, no love for the Rush.
More from the first, Kale Kessy and Marcus Ortiz come to blows... sort of.
Tulsa takes it 3-to-1.
