Rush surge late against Utah

On the heels of the club's two-week Stock Show Road Trip, the Rapid City Rush got themselves a short turnaround, playing the franchise's first-ever weekday morning game, taking on the Utah Grizzlies.
Thousands of school children enjoying the game as part of the team's 'Rush to Read More' initiative.
Pick this one up in the third period of play with the Rush leading it 4-to-3.
Utah trying to tie it up, Ryan Walters to Austin Ortega who tries to slam it home, but Adam Vay stands strong between the pipes.
Later in the third, Rush applying pressure, Kenton Miller picks up the loose puck and puts it past Sean Maguire. Miller carding the hat trick in front of the little ones and a 5-to-3 lead.
The Rush wasn't finished, empty net for Utah, Daniel Leavens reels it in and sends it down the ice for the goal. The kids go crazy as the sixth goal for the Rush means a free trip to an area waterpark!
That was the big thing for the kids, but the big thing for the Rush was getting the win 6-to-3 the final score.
