Megan Rohrer's 16 points not enough for the Hardrockers

Lynn Plett, and the Lady Mountain Lions taking on the Lady Hardrockers tonight.

The Hardrockers have the early 4-nothing lead at the start of the game, but Colorado Springs' Madi Gaibler knocks down the 3 to bring the game within 1.

Megan Rohrer goes to work for the Mines, as Taylor Molstad feeds her down low for the basket.
And then on the next possession, more from Rohrer, as she takes it in from the top of the key for the right handed layup.

UCCS wakes up. The Mountain Lions swing it around to Brittany Hernandez. Hernandez takes it baseline and misses the layup, but gets the rebound and the put-back. This would kick off 13 unanswered points from the Mountain Lions.

More from Colorado Springs in the first quarter, Kelly O'Flannigan gets some distance off the dribble, and drains the 3. She'd rack up 10 points in the contest.

With 48 seconds left in the first quarter, the Hardrockers down, 19-13, and Megan Rohrer takes it to the hoop for the basket. She'd lead the team in scoring tonight with 16 points, but that wouldn't be enough, as the Mountain Lions took home the win, 66-51 the final score.
