Jacob Martin scores 39 in Raiders' win over Aberdeen Central

Saturday, the 4th ranked Rapid City Stevens boys basketball team took on East River competition, as the Raiders took on Aberdeen Central in the last home game of the season.

Stevens has the 6-point lead in the 1st quarter, and Senior, Jacob Martin adds to that with the 3 to end the first quarter of action. He'd have 39 on the day.

In the 2nd quarter... Aberdeen's Cole Bergan gets fed under the basket. He misses the first shot, gets a second chance and knocks it down.

This was a back-and-forth affair all game.. here's more from Stevens, as Martin picks off the pass and takes it the other way for the layup.

Golden Eagles now... Bergan shows us that he has range as he hits a big 3... to cut Steven's lead to 6.

More from Aberdeen... Stoebner gets it to an open, Christian Goetz under the basket for the bucket.

The Raiders only leading by 1, picking up defensively... Martin pokes the ball loose, Mason Archambault snags it and feeds it to Martin up the court for the easy layup...

Martin again.. he gets the ball and takes it in for the layup, and 1...
More from Stevens... Martin taking it to the hoop again, misses the layup, but Will Moore is there, soaring to the rim for the put-back.

Aberdeen doesn't go away... Bergan with the ball on the wing, gets separation, and hits the fade-away jumper. It's 37-33 Stevens.

The Raiders up 3 with seconds left in the first half, and Mason Archambault gets his first points of the game with the 3 to end the half.

Stevens snags the victory, 72-65 the final score.
