The already once postponed Northern Hills Invitational track meet in Belle Fourche finally got going Tuesday and the sun was out and it felt pretty good.
Up to Belle Fourche's Lou Graslie Field we go and we start things off with hometown hero Shayla Howell as she competes in the long jump.
Howell had another nice day at the track as she went home with wins in the 200, long and triple jumps.

Here we have Harding County's Garrett Rolph is trailing STM's Jarek Glenn with one lap remaining in the boys 1600 .. Rolph is coming off of a double win day at last week's Wall Invitational and he flips the tables on the last lap to come away with the win ... strong effort from the Rancher there as he wins in 4:56.89 and he also took home the 3,200-meter win in 10:49.04.
St. Thomas More's Thomas Rafferty crosses the finish line in first in the 400-meter dash in 51.9 seconds, he also won the 200 to pick up a pair of wins on the day, and a little later Brigit Blote makes it a clean sweep in the quarter-mile for the Cavaliers as she wins the girls' race in a time of 63 seconds.
St. Thomas More's Skylar Sullivan won both girls hurdle events, Sundance's Rigan McInerney won the girls shot and discus and Bison's Shane Collins took home shot and disc titles as the day's other double-winners.
