5. We start things off at Boulder Canyon Country Club and CUSTER'S AUSTIN EGGERS shows off a deft touch with the wedge as THIS BALL HOPS ONTO THE GREEN AND nestles right in to gimme range. Those are the kinds of up and downs that make any golfer smile.

4. High school tennis from the Parkview Tennis Complex and Rapid City Central's Lindsey PFINGSTON SERVING against the Spearfish Spartans ... Pfingston powers THIS backhand past the Spartans with precision ... Pfingston and teammate McKenzey Crowley took this match 10-5 as the Cobblers won the dual 6-3.

3. And Rapid City Central pitcher Katie Paris was on her game as she shut out the Watertown Arrows on Friday ... here she coaxes a ground ball out of an Arrows hitter and gets a great play from shortstop Hannah Semmler with a nice pick at first from Briley Corrigan ... Cobblers win 12-0 in their season-opener ...

2. Hill City at Newell in a 9-man football o pener ... Ranger QUARTERBACK NOAH KRULL ROLLS OUT...LOOKING TO THROW BUT KEEPS IT HIMSELF AND TAKES OFF....HE's HIT ALONG THE SIDELINE AND THE BALL POPS OUT RIGHT TO CODY HOMAN AND HOMAN RUNS IT IN as Hill City wins this one 35-6.

1. And at No. 1 the Wall EAGLES hosting New Underwood, Wall quarterback JACOB BIELMAIER AIRS IT OUT FOR the sprinter TACK TINES, and all Tines has to do is keep on running as Bielmaier couldn't have walked out and set this one in his hands any better ... that's A 34 YARD TOUCHDOWN as the Eagles run away with the opener 39-0.
