Cobblers dominate Douglas on the mat

We're halfway through the high school wrestling regular season and the Central Cobblers are hoping to compete for several individual state titles coming up late next month.
Tuesday, the Cobblers hit the mat, fresh off last weekend's Bismarck Rotary Tournament, to take on the Douglas Patriots.
Out to Naasz Gym for the middle weight classes.
138 pounds, Douglas' Matt Ambrose against Cobbler Brayden Burrus, Burrus trailing by one in the third, but gets the sweet reversal, plus a handful of back points to close the show as Burrus gets the come-from-behind win 13-to-9.
Onto 145, Central Riley McSherry squaring off against Jeffrey Stover, McSherry ties up an arm and muscles over Stover into the small package and gets the stick.
A great matchup at 152 pounds with Central's Bridger Kraye against Douglas' Colton Jackson. Jackson fends off the shot and gets the flip for the two to tie the match at five, but Kraye stays with it and gets the late escape as Kraye gets the one point victory.
Central rolls in the dual. Final Score 54 to 11.
