Burr, Broncs win BHC golf titles

Some of the state's top girls golfers hone their games in the Black Hills Conference and with the state golf tournaments looming on the horizon three weeks from now, the teams from the BHC got together at Prairie Ridge Golf Course to crown a conference champ.

Out to Box Elder we go and that's the team trophy everybody was playing for.

We start things off with Douglas's Molly Schwartz, who drains this 25-footer for birdie on the ninth hole en route to a nine-over par 79 that was good for third place individually.

Next up is Lead-Deadwood's Hailey Trewhella, who shows off the touch here with a really nice chip shot.

And we close things up with Belle Fourche's Payson Birkeland knocking down this bomb of a putt on No. 9 for a birdie. Birkeland shot an 87 to finish fifth individually but it was Birkeland's teammate Jade Burr who took home the individual title with a 76 as the Broncs won the team championship as well.
