High school track and field athletes are just about coming down the homestretch of their seasons and today at Douglas High School the Black Hills Conference crowned its conference champions.

And first up we've got one of the nominees for Rapid City High School Athlete of the Year Jordynn Toliver of Douglas winning the girls 100-meter hurdles in a time of 16.26 seconds.
Next up it's the boys 110-meter hurdles and St. Thomas More's Grant Huber takes the conference title in that event.
We move on to the girls 4-by-800 meter relay and St. Thomas More cruises in this one taking the title in a time of 9:53.08
And Spearfish's Mikayla Tracy is your BHC girls 100-meter dash winner here.
And finally we've got the boys 100-meter dash and More's Jacob Hyde takes the crown in that one.
The Western Great Plains Conference held its conference meet today in Wall and New Underwood's Cerington Jones took home four conference championship wins. Jones won the 100 in 13.38 seconds; the 200 in 27.01 and the 400 in 65.20 and also captured the long jump with a 15 foot, 4-inch effort.
Other double winners on the day were Rapid City Christian's Anna Birnbaum in the 800 and 1600, Wall's Kyla Sawvell in the shot and disc and New Underwood's Portia Wiebers in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles.
On the boys' side, Wall teammates Tack Tines and Andrew Law won the 100 and triple jump and the 110- and 300-meter hurdles, respectively.
