Turkish man sentenced following rally sex trafficking investigation
A Turkish man caught in a Sturgis Rally sex trafficking investigation was sentenced in federal court Friday morning.
26-year old Abdurrahman Keskin earlier pleaded guilty to attempted possession of child pornography.
District Judge Jeffrey Viken sentenced Kesin to five years in prison, which is the mandatory minimum for that charge.
Originally charged with attempted enticement of a minor using the internet, court documents say Keskin responded online to an ad from undercover agent posing as a 15-year old girl.
He asked the agent for pictures and arranged to meet the girl in the Stevens High School parking lot for sex and that's when he was arrested.
Keskin apologized to both the court and the United States Friday morning.
