A teen from Clark is showing off her animals at the 81st annual Western Junior Livestock Show.

17-year-old Tavie Guzman presented her market lamb and breeding goat at the Central States Fairgrounds.

She also interviewed for a scholarship from the stock show.

Tavie says she's grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow in the agriculture field, but what she really loves about the Livestock Show, is meeting other kids just like her.

Tavie Guzman says, "I think my favorite part about coming here is I have a lot of extended family across the state. Although they're not family-related like blood-related, they're more like my stockshow family and I don't get to see them all the time. With that, I get to come here and see them."

Saturday is also the end of National 4-H Week.

Tavie says the event helps kids become better 4-H leaders.
