Sturgis parade of lights allows anonymous donor the chance to honor his late wife

RAPID CITY, SD (KEVN) The annual Sturgis parade of lights weaved through Sturgis on Tuesday, November thirtieth This year's parade had over 30 entries and has been going on for over 20 years.
Floats were judged to see who had the best entry and took hours to build. For one float decked out in bears, it allows a community member to give back while honoring a lost love.

"This year our theme is 'Jesus loves you beary much' one of our donors donates money specifically on behalf of his deceased wife to buy a teddy bear for every child and infant at our distribution so every little child gets a teddy bear." says Major Nathan Johnson, the Black Hills Coordinator Salvation Army
