Spearfish man wins $100,000 Powerball prize

These are good times for Allen Reede of Spearfish.
That's because he beat the odds in Saturday's Powerball drawing.

Reede claimed his $100,000 prize on Monday.
He matched four of the five winning numbers along with the Powerball.
He also chose the Powerplay option, doubling his winnings.
The odds of winning the prize were 1-in-913,129.
Reede is a dealer at the Deadwood Mountain Grand.
In a release, Reede says he and his wife hugged and shared a couple of tears.
He bought the ticket at the Spearfish Common Cents and says he chooses the numbers based on his five grandchildren's birthdays.
