Teachers and school administrators from all over stopped by to pick up boxes filled with binders, backpacks and other classroom essentials.
Heidi Bulam, who serves as the project manager for the "Load the Bus" Drive says, the success of the drive wouldn't be possible
without the generosity of the many hands from the community.
Heidi Bulam, Project Manager, says, "From members to community members, to businesses they did monetary donation, they did supply drives at their businesses and just dropped supplies to us and then we helped make it happen. We really want to give kids the chance to start on the right foot, to start the year with supplies, come in, be engaged and ready to start. We are really exited to be able to help do that."
This year will be the credit union's 21st Annual School Drive and nearly ten thousand students will get to use these supplies throughout this upcoming school year.
