STURGIS, S.D. (KEVN) - One new vendor at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is making sure hangovers don't stop you from enjoying the festivities.
Many people walk around the rally in the hot sun, not realizing their sweat makes them lose water at a rapid rate.
That's why the specialists Party Pros IV are taking hydration to the next level by hooking their patients up to an IV, which can have saline, Ibuprofen, nausea medicine, and B vitamins.
They also check people's blood pressure and have them fill out a health questionnaire to make sure they're healthy.
Ebin has been a paramedic for 12 years, he says their patients feel much more energized after one of their hydration sessions.
Ebin Latrimurti, paramedic and Party Pros IV partner, says, "We hope to provide people with a service that makes their rally more safe, more enjoyable, and a better experience for them overall. You put in a lot of time and effort and money into coming up here, you want to have the best experience you can. You don't want to spend half the day laying in your tent hungover, feeling nauseous, and so we can fix all of that and make their rally more enjoyable."
Party Pros is located at the Sturgis Armory at 1019 Main Street.
Saturday is their last at the rally, but they hope to continue their hydration services at other major festivals throughout the nation.
