Parade of Christmas Trees at the Original Governor's Mansion

Monday night the Landmark Community Church is bringing Christmas to the Valley at the Original Governor's Mansion.

Colorful evergreens decorated the mansion for the Parade of Christmas Trees.

Visitors could take a tour of the 18-room mansion, eat Christmas cookies, and drink a hot cup of cocoa.

The trees were decorated by local non-profits including Habitat for Humanity and Love Inc.

Pastor Scott Craig says, "We think this is such a special place to have an experience in the midst of the Christmas season as we celebrate God coming to Earth 2,000 years ago in the person of Jesus who wants to bring people together and into his family. And so as a church family we want to include everybody and say hey, in the spirit of Christmas, come see this place and come be together."

House tours and activities will be happening at the mansion throughout the week including caroling on Thursday, a showing of the movie "White Christmas" on Friday, and hay rides and a live nativity scene on Saturday.
