Friday night was the opening night of Journeys, a show by dance and theater company Flutter Productions.
In Journeys, cast members of all abilities share their dreams and give us insight into their world.
The production is composed of six independent vignettes co-written by individuals with disabilities.
Cast members tell their stories through spoken word and dance.
Heather Pickering says, "There are six short stories about journeys that people have taken in life or wish that they could take in life. And the ones that are real have been journeys that have been a major turning point in an individuals life that has sent their life in a new direction."
Journeys will be performed again Saturday night at 7:30 at the Performing Arts Center in Rapid City.
Tickets are available at performingartsrc.org.
