Another season of "Movies Under the Stars" is kicking off Monday night at Main Street Square.
Monday night's movie was Paddington 2, a kid-friendly comedy about a friendly bear's quest to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday.
Hundreds of people were enjoying some of the other activites around the square before the movie began like face painting and jumping around the fountains.
This family-oriented event started several years ago thanks to the Leadership Rapid City Class of 2010.
Leah Bifulco says, "Our class chose the project to find something that anybody could attend that was free and wasn't happening on a weekend, something different that they could all participate in and that's how movie under the stars was born."
Next Monday's movie is another kid friendly animated film called Zootopia.
June 18th will feature the PG-13 superhero flick Spider-Man: Homecoming.
