LEAD, S.D. (KEVN) – The city of Lead looks to the future as they come up with ideas for a new strategic plan.
Some of their ideas include rebuilding downtown Lead, to adding restrooms to the first floor of city hall. Meetings to discuss the plan are open to the public, so people can voice ideas. The city hopes this new plan will benefit Lead for the years to come.
"They added a few things and I think it's a pretty robust list and it covers everything from next year to the next five or six years," says Mike Stahl, Lead City supervisor. "We'll have that a little more formalized probably later on this fall."
Stahl says the plan will now enter the budget stage where it will be discussed in August and outlined in mid-September.
