Knights of Columbus serves pancakes in an effort to keep kids warm

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Members of Council 88-44 holds a drive once a month and this month, they are raising money to provide coats for kids.

After mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, members could eat and donate at their discretion raising money for coats that will keep kids warm this winter.

"The best part is being able to see the kids faces when you give them the coats, brand new coats for the winter, they just light up with a big smile and a big thank you."

Coats for Kids is a nationwide drive by the Knights of Columbus. They served nearly 200 people Sunday and plan to hand out coats to local children soon.
