Inmate walks away from Rapid City minimum-security facility

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN/KOTA TV) - A minimum-security inmate has walked away from the Rapid City Community Work Center.

David Iron Cloud failed to return to the Rapid City Community Work Center after his work release shift. (SD Department of Corrections)

According to the Department of Corrections, David Iron Cloud, 30, failed to return to the center after his work release shift.

Iron Cloud is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.

He is serving time for ingestion and possession of a controlled substance.
