Health Watch: Exercise Ball

(KEVN TV)- This evening I'm going to show you some exercises you can do on a stability ball. Ok I'm going to show you some fun stuff you can do. We'll start by working on our hamstrings and our glutes. On this one you want to lift your legs up, hold your hands down for stability and you are going to roll in and tuck so you really feel isolation here. A lot of times with the hamstrings you think you have to use weight but you can use your own body weight. If you want to intensify it more take the ball between your legs, flex your feet that makes your legs active and curl it down just like that, extend up and reach up to the ceiling. Let's do some more fun stuff by going into a push up. Push-ups are hard especially sometimes for the ladies. This is a nice way to do it just be careful getting on the ball. Your thigh wants to be on the ball then you are coming down. It is really nice, it gets the top of the chest, shoulders and triceps. If you want to make it harder you can bring your legs closer to you. When doing push-ups you are working your core, so lets intensify that and use a stability ball. This is a great way to do your abs. I'm Carol White owner of Carol White's personal fitness studio
