Vets, Active Duty Military and their families were honored today right before the kickoff of the fourth annual Freedom Celebration Ride.

Celebrated by tunes from the Big Skillet Band, attendees were able to socialize and dance for the service they've given the nation. They also got to witness dignitaries and honored guests speak about their experiences and the reason for their affiliation.

Warrior Dog Foundation, one of the local charities benefiting from the ride, were excited to lead the way.

Mike Ritland says, "Rico and myself will be in the back of the vehicle leading the freedom celebration ride and so we're honored to be a part of this event. Our organization has been here for three years now and we look forward to coming back."

In addition to the Warrior Dog Foundation, the Combat Wounded Coalition and America's Mighty Warriors will also benefit from the proceeds. They left Spearfish and headed off to the Buffalo Chip.
