More than 100,00 lights hit the streets of Downtown Rapid City this year for the Festival of Lights Parade. The celebration is a favorite holiday tradition among many families in the community, and it's just one of the many things you can get involved in to get in the holiday spirit.
Adrianne Cole-Dreyer says, "It's great for the community to come together and just see everybody come out and participate.
John Dreyer says, "It's grown actually. They have the winter market down here, they have all of the shops open, it has just grown from the last year, significantly I think."
The parade has a reputation of being the premiere winter event
in the Black Hills. It's made possible by several businesses and organizations throughout Rapid City.
