RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - If you want to take a break from all that screen time and have some fun try playing board games.
The Black Hills Tabletop Society is a group that organizes get-togethers a few times a month for people of all ages to play different types of board games. Sunday, they met in the Rapid City Library, but they also meet at the Dahl Arts Center; and any church or restaurant that will provide them space for an evening of fun and games. Along with kid-friendly board games they have some more advanced games and other party games for people to have a good time.
"The best thing with board games is that you're sitting around a table with real people. You're actually sitting face to face with someone who is different than you, but has a shared love," says Andrew Davis, an organizer for these events.
If you'd like to join in on one of their game nights you can join the Black Hills Tabletop Society Facebook group to find out when and where they will get together next.
