Custer's inaugural Restaurant Week
Custer's first ever Restaurant Week is halfway over, but there's still plenty of food to try.
Dakota BBQ is one of 11 restaurants offering special deals on their menu this week.
One special is the pastrami beef rib dinner which includes the beef rib, a small side, dessert, and a 12 ounce soft drink - all for $15.
The husband wife duo at Dakota BBQ say it took them years to craft their BBQ rub and they're open until they sell out.
Dakota BBQ Co-owner Elena Russell says, "We thought it would be a great opportunity not only for locals to come out back to the restaurants again here locally, but also just to raise awareness for other people outside of the area, outside of Custer. The Custer Chamber thought that this was going to be a great opportunity to bring people back out into the city and help us get busy again for the slow season."
Other restaurants participating in Restaurant Week include Black Hills Burger and Bun, the Custer Wolf, and Pizza Works.
