Buffalo Chip awards $5k to future college student

The Buffalo Chip is making a difference for one future college student.

Sidney May was awarded $5 thousand dollars through the Buffalo Chip Challenge scholarship.

She will be studying business and marketing at Black Hills State University starting this fall.

May hopes to start her own hot rod shop - with a passion for bikes and cars.

She even organized a car show in Iowa last year - raising $2 thousand dollars for a high school tech program.

The donation helped save that program.
