One unique publication might have new developers ...
but it's still giving readers a little bit of everything.
"The Unique News" is an interactive newsletter
started five years ago as a hobby for Vi Stoltz,
but Jeanne Hoback has taken it over along with her partner Deb Casey.
In the pages, you can find seasonal stories and facts,
and other fun, attention-grabbing articles.
The newsletter is free, supported by advertisers throughout the area,
and they print about 5,000 copies. Hoback says this project is right up her alley.
Jeanne Hoback, writer for Unique News, says "This was meant for me because this is exactly the kind of thing I like doing. It's an upbeat, uplifting, interesting little few facts, a little quiz, thing that I really enjoy doing."
If you're interested in getting your hands on a copy of "The Unique News," they can be spotted in places throughout town
such as coffee shops and waiting rooms at clinics.
They're also looking for distributors to expand their following
throughout the Black Hills.
and a new pizza spot is in town and for those who like a late night snack, it'll make them very happy.
Boss' Pizza and Chicken has an array of items on their menu
from pizzas, chicken, calzones, salads, desserts,
but the thing that makes them a favorite
is the fact that they are open from 11 a.m. until 3 a.m.
during the week and until 4 a.m. on the weekends.
They've been open for 13 years. The owner says they have stores in places like Sioux Falls, Keystone, and Nebraska and she's glad to be able to cater to the people of Rapid City now as well.
Elizabeth Ketter, manager and owner, says "We're excited to be out here to give Rapid City some other options for food and to just have an option for late night delivery and carryout.
Boss' says they've been busy during the lunch hour and dinners have been crazy as well. You can find them in Tuscany Square on Omaha St.
