RAPID CITY, SD (KEVN) - The wheels are turning for a 21-year-old bicycle shop here in Rapid City.
ACME Bicycles just moved into its new location at 700 Jackson Blvd.
The owner says the goal was to get rolling in the space by the beginning of April and boy did they hit that mark.
ACME has hired a few more staff members and brought in more products including BMX, family, electric, and cargo bikes.
With more daylight hours, and nicer weather, folks are getting their bikes out for repairs or buying new ones, and owner Tim Rangitsch says the shop is ready to meet your needs.
"We've moved into a much bigger space, we have a lot more room, capacity. more inventory. We can fit a lot more repair bikes and operate more efficiently so we're pretty excited. We've been in here three weeks now and Spring is upon us so it's going to be a good summer," he said.
Rangitsch invites anyone to come to look around or take a spin on one of the bikes.
Over the past decade, this boutique fitness studio has been working on giving Rapid City an upbeat vibe.
The Studio is also in its third location.
It specializes in classes for anything from dance to heavy bag boxing, and strength activity in a variety of formats.
Since opening in September, the owner says they have already outgrown the space because classes are filling but it is so rewarding to be able to offer something different to Rapid City.
"I've really worked on bringing in the things that are happening in the big cities and then creating some of our own formats as well for our clients just to keep that fresh urban upbeat kind of feel to our classes," said Teresa Gonzalez, owner, and operator of The Studio.
In order to learn more about The Studio, you can go to MindBody and search for their class schedule. They also offer a membership where you can go in and do an in-person consultation.
