RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Staff at Black Hills Archery helped parents register their children for 4H archery Saturday at their new location on Sturgis road.
Those who came in with new bows had the chance to get them adjusted to prepare for next weeks lessons. The program started 20 years ago and in the past couple years their junior and senior groups have grown so much that they felt it was necessary to expand.
"Our youth program had gotten so large that we didn't have any more room to accommodate them so that's why we moved. That was the one and only reason we made the big move is to accommodate our youth program because we don't want to turn away any kids," says Al Kraus, owner of Black Hills Archery.
Most people have signed up their children for 4H, but if you haven't you can still do so although space may be limited.
