She uses the space she's in as her palette, using the space to create site specific installations.

Suzanne Wyss is preparing to open her show called, "Denatured," at the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City.
Wyss grew up in Rapid City and currently lives in Texas.
Her show is made up of three large installations, including a jungle made out of VHS tapes, a cave and a canyon.
She says what's makes her pieces so unique is the fact that you can be a part of them.

Installation Artist, Suzanne Wyss, says, "The fact that you as an everyday person can spend time inside these alternate environments, I think is what's special about them, is that you get that personal, physical interaction."

"Denatured" also features several large scale sculptures and various smaller growths.
The show will open on Friday with an artist reception from 5 to 7 p.m.
The show runs through mid April.
