RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - It's day two of the 37th annual Black Hills Sports Show and Outdoor Expo, and organizers say it's bigger and better than ever before.
More than 120 vendors filled the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, making it their most sold out show vendor-wise.
Families could check out boats, ATVs, fishing, and a youth area for archery and pellet guns.
Workers also managed their best Friday on record selling more than 6,000 wristbands.
Ami Scull-Larson, event coordinator, Black Hills Sports Show, says, "I think what I'm noticing today is people are just happy to be out of their homes. We've all been very cold. This is a nice warm place to make most of the family happy with all the stuff we have to offer. I think people are excited for summer. That's one of the things we love about hosting the show in February is it is cold. We're in the dead of winter. It gives us some hope that summer and summer activities are around the corner."
All of the proceeds go to local non-profits.
The Sports Show will be open again Sunday from 10am-4pm.
