Most people don't want to get with in 100 feet of a rattlesnake let alone jump over a pit of up to 2,000 of them
Doug Danger in his craziest stunt yet plans to jump over a pit of up to 2,000 rattle snakes at this year's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The jump will take place on August 10th at the Buffalo Chip amphitheater where spectators will get to see either a great success or a possible serious injury.
Officials at the Chip came up with the idea and modeled it after a jump Evil Kenevil attempted and failed.
Rod Woodruff, owner of the Buffalo Chip says, "We are always looking for something a little different to do something exciting and something daring and Doug wanted to do another jump with us. We have the original jump bike that Evil Knievel did well. You know when you look at Evil Kenevil, the very first jump ever did, he tried to jump over a cardboard box that had a couple of rattlesnakes in it and didn't quite make it."
Doug Danger will be attempting the jump with a 1972 Harley Davidson and the snakes will be kept in a plexiglass container to keep spectators safe.
