20-30 guns stolen from Rooster Sporting Goods in Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN)- 20 to 30 guns are stolen from the Rooster sporting goods store in Rapid City, after suspects broke into the store, during a burglary, early this morning.

That's according to a news release from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; otherwise known as the ATF.

The ATF is the lead federal law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over firearms.
Both the ATF and Rapid City Police are investigating the crime.

Anyone with information about today's gun burglary can submit an anonymous tip by texting the letters RCPD and the information to 8-4-7-4-1-1...or by calling the Rapid City PD.
