Windy weather continues
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Winds will weaken a bit through the night. Skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will fall into the 20s and 30s by morning.
While we start off the day with some sunshine, clouds will develop through the morning and continue into the afternoon. A few rain and snow showers are expected, mainly in Wyoming and the Black Hills, though a few could form on the South Dakota plains. It will be windy across the area once again. A Wind Advisory is in effect for the western South Dakota plains from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Gusts up to 50 mph are possible at times.
Winds will weaken Tuesday night, but it will be breezy Wednesday and possibly the rest of the week. Wednesday will be sunny as temperatures return to the 50s. Thursday will be the warmest day of the week, where highs climb into the 60s. A few showers are possible during the afternoon and evening hours Thursday. Once the front passes through it’ll bring a drop in temperatures for Friday.
Highs will be in the 40s and 50s to close out the week, but the warm air does not stay away for long! Temperatures climb into the 60s on Saturday for some and we could even find ourselves near 70° to close out the weekend!
