RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Another cold night is expected with low temperatures in the single digits for many. Some spots may fall below zero. There will be a slight breeze, which will drop wind chill temperatures below zero for nearly everyone. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for Harding and Perkins Counties until 9 a.m. Friday. Wind chill values will drop to -25° at times in which frost bite could occur in as little as 30 minutes.

Another chilly day is expected on Friday. It’ll be breezy, so our high temperatures in the 20s will feel more like the teens for much of the day. Scattered clouds are expected and a few snow showers will be possible in and around the Black Hills.

Warmer weather arrives by the weekend! We will have highs in the 50s for many both Saturday and Sunday. It’ll start out breezy for Saturday, but clouds increase on Sunday, which could lead to a few rain and snow showers late Sunday and Sunday night.

Spring-like temperatures continue into the following week with highs in the 50s for much of it. The warmest day will be Tuesday, where highs will be in the 60s! Temperatures drop into the 40s by St. Patrick’s Day, but we will likely remain above normal.
