RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Snow showers continue for some overnight. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for Sheridan County until 6 a.m. About another 1″-2″ of snow will be possible by morning. An advisory is in place for Custer and Fall River Counties until 5 p.m. Wednesday. An additional 1″-4″ of snow will be possible by Wednesday afternoon. It’ll be cold tonight with lows in the single digits and wind chills below zero. Bundle up!

Wednesday will be the coldest day of the week with highs in the 20s for much of the area. It’ll be a little breezy, which will make temperatures feel more like the single digits through the day. Skies will be mostly cloudy and a few snow showers could linger into the southern hills. Skies clear up Wednesday night and we have plenty of sunshine on tap Thursday before clouds return later in the day. Highs will be in the 20s to low 30s.

Friday will be chilly, too. Highs will be in the 20s for much of the area with partly cloudy skies. Warmer air is set to return this weekend! Saturday will be partly cloudy and breezy with highs in the 50s. Sunday will be in the 50s as well, but more cloud cover is expected with the chance for a few rain and snow showers, mainly in the afternoon.

Monday will stay warm with highs in the 50s for many, while Tuesday could see temperatures reach the 60s! We stay mild into Wednesday, but late next week we could see temperatures fall a bit.
