(Gray News) – A missing 15-year-old girl from Idaho was found safe and a suspect taken into custody in the state of Washington, police say.

An Amber Alert was issued Monday for 15-year-old Lillian Dixon, of Lewiston, Idaho. She had been missing since Dec. 3, KPTV reports.

Authorities believed the teenager was traveling with 36-year-old Jonathan Bowles, who has multiple felony warrants for child molestation. The two were reported in the Amber Alert to be traveling in a stolen 2007 maroon Chevy Trailblazer with the Washington state plate BKA0197.

Washington State Police tweeted Tuesday evening that Lillian had been found safe and Bowles was in custody.

Police Sgt. Greg Riddell says they located the car involved in the Amber Alert in Spokane Valley, according to KTVB. After a short pursuit, Bowles was taken into custody. Lillian was said to be undergoing a medical evaluation.
