Friday’s COVID-19 numbers in South Dakota

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - There were 11 new COVID-19 cases reported Friday in South Dakota. This brings the state’s total known case number to 122,599.

3 new deaths were reported bringing that number to 2026 for the state.

Pennington County reported 2 new cases, and Meade and Tripp counties each reported 1 new case.

Hospitalizations have decreased by 4, bringing the total to 34.

According to CDC data, 55.72% of South Dakotans have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine and 50.83% have completed the full vaccine series.
