COVID-19 numbers for Wednesday in SD

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - There were 12 new COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday in South Dakota. This brings the state’s total known case number to 122,576.

No new deaths were reported.

Pennington County reported 10 new cases, Butte and Meade counties reported 2 new cases each, and Corson, Lawrence, Custer and Lyman counties each reported 1 new case.

Hospitalizations have increased by three, bringing the total to 43.

According to CDC data, 55.29% of South Dakotans have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine and 50.16% have completed the full vaccine series.
