RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Judd Hoos, the popular American rock band from the Black Hills, is back with a new album that is fresh, vibrant, and lyrical. Their new EP, Not Alone, is hyped up with splashy drums, heavy guitar rock tones, and tight harmonies reflective of the band.
Andy Young, member of Judd Hoos said “We just took the initiative to keep ourselves busy to write and record our own music down in Nashville.”
“We had so many songs to go into the studio with and it’s a collective of songs. It’s amazing to hear peoples reactions...” said Tyler Billis.
Along with their release Judd Hoos performed in a charity concert on Saturday, June 5th, which featured their own beer, Hoos Juice.
Shane Funk said “We enjoy beer and this was a fun collaboration with Remedy Brewing to develop our own brew, an IPA.”
Judd Hoos will also be touring all summer long with a packed schedule.
“We’ll be in 8 states this year. We’re pretty use to putting on a lot of miles.” said Chris Hornick
Judd Hoos was the opener to the second Skyline Summer Music Series on Good Morning Black Hills; a music series that performs every Friday at 7am all summer long on KEVN Black Hills Fox news.
